Have you ever wondered who keeps the parks in our county clean and maintained? Volunteers are a big part of the maintenance projects. Come make a difference in our community and help other volunteers at Santa Rosa Park and Rec Department's Park-A-Month cleaning event.
At previous events we have cleaned up hiking trails, built fences, and cleared poison oak so we are looking forward to serving the community again.
This event is focused on cleaning up Live Oak Park. This is a family-friendly way to have fun while helping to beautify parks we all use and enjoy. Jobs will include litter pickup, spreading mulch, cleaning play area equipment and picnic areas, weeding, raking leaves, and more.
Please bring: SOMA Serve shirt (if you need one let Paul know), drinking water, sun hat/sunscreen, sturdy shoes or boots. Hand tools and gloves will be provided.
Come show Jesus love in a practical way to our community! RSVP so I can let the city know how many are coming.
